GoldPass is asking me for my pin / pattern but I have yet to set one?
GoldPass, as of December 2019, uses the native security of the user's phone device in order to lock the app. This enhancement also enables the ability for GoldPass to use secure bio-metrics as well, such as fingerprint and facial recognition if the device offers that functionality.
If GoldPass is asking for a pin or pattern to unlock the wallet, this is the same as the pin / pattern used to unlock the device itself.
This latest security update also meant that it was a requirement for device security to be in place in order to use GoldPass.
